Veneers are thin, custom-made porcelain shells bonded to the front of your teeth to improve their shape, size and color. You help choose the shade.

Stained or discolored teeth
Small gaps between teeth
Chipped, cracked or worn teeth
Uneven shape or minor misalignment
Several concerns, one treatment
Long-lasting with proper care

FAQs

Questions Patients Ask before Booking.

Call (916) 318-3856
How much do porcelain veneers cost?

A single veneer is $1,500 per tooth. Packages are $5,800 for 4 veneers, $8,400 for 6 and $10,800 for 8. Your exact plan and price are confirmed in writing after your exam. Any fillings, build-ups or gum treatment needed first are quoted separately.

How many veneers will I need?

That depends on your teeth, gums, bite and smile goals. Dr. Patel recommends a plan only after examining you. For some patients, whitening, bonding or clear aligners may be a better fit, and she will tell you if so.

Can I see my new smile before treatment?

Yes. We design your smile digitally, show it to you on screen, and create an in-mouth mockup so you can preview the shape before any tooth is prepared. Your temporary veneers also give you a preview while your final veneers are made.

Can I choose the color?

Yes. You help choose the shade, with Dr. Patel's guidance on what suits your face, your natural teeth and how bright you want your smile.

How long does it take, and does it hurt?

The process usually takes two to three appointments. Most patients find it comfortable. Local anesthesia may be used during tooth preparation, and any mild sensitivity afterward usually fades within a short period.

Are veneers permanent?

Veneers require removing a small amount of enamel, so the procedure is permanent. Veneers may need replacing after many years, and habits like biting hard objects should be avoided.

Porcelain or composite veneers?

Porcelain veneers are known for durability and a natural appearance. Composite veneers are applied directly to the tooth. Dr. Patel can recommend the most suitable option for your goals.

Does insurance cover veneers? Can I pay monthly?

Veneers are cosmetic and generally not covered by dental insurance, but we work with most PPO plans and will review your benefits with you. Monthly payment options are available through CareCredit, Sunbit and Cherry, subject to approval.
